Feature Codes

Also known as “star codes” these control the in-call features on your hosted phone.

access own mailbox

access specific mailbox (where is the 3-digit mailbox number)
access any voicemail (will prompt for mailbox/password)

"blind" transfer — transfers your current call directly to the specified extension, without giving you a chance to speak to the person at that extension before hanging up)

"attended" transfer — puts the caller on hold while you speak to the person at the extension you are transferring to; when you hang up that call the original caller will be transferred to them. If the person at that extension doesn't want to receive the call (or you get through to their voicemail for example) you can retrieve the original caller by dialling * 0

Queue Members

log out of queue (stop receiving calls)
* 9 6
log in to queue (start receiving calls)
* 9 7
toggles between logged in/out of a queue

Call Pickup

* 2 1
pick up any ringing extension
* * 
pick up specific ringing extension by its 3-digit short number (e.g. * * 1 0 1)

Hot Desking

* 7 8 
register your temporary location, where is your own extension number (must be dialled from an extension other than your own)
* 7 9 
deactivate (dial from any extension) — if dialling from your own extension then simply * 7 9 will suffice

Speed Dial

* 0 
dial a stored number from the shared phone book (configurable via the portal)

withhold CLI for outbound call (where number is the destination you wish to call)

enable/disable call forwarding rule
